About Us

The name Peachy Keen stems from our approach which is strongly rooted in the belief that encouraging a child’s curiosity and nurturing their love for learning at an early age sets the foundation for lifelong learning.

Peachy Keen meaning “wonderful” or “excellent” – terms which perfectly describe our program and the type of learning which should be felt by all children around the world.

Our Philosophy

The early years is recognized as the most vital time in laying the foundation for a child’s future development. Our Reggio inspired program is the perfect combination of both inquiry and curriculum based to meet the needs of each child.

We view play and exploration as an integral part of a child’s learning and is their way of researching the world around them through their interactions and experiences. As children play, they make discoveries, experiment, test their own theories, and interact with their peers and surroundings. We strive to challenge children’s thought process (scaffold when necessary) by encouraging them to ‘think outside the box’ when they have challenges as there is not always one way or answer to solve a problem. Hence why we love the famous quote,

“Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible. No one can do more” – Loris Malaguzzi 

We guide children through their self-discovery but provide enough time for them to generate more ideas and to continually do their research and examination.

Everyday, our outdoor space adds another layer of fun and learning that immerses children into the natural world and piques their interests, fostering a connection and engagement with their environment and all the wonders that come with it.
